About the Role
The company is seeking experienced Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customer Engineers for a remote contract position lasting 18 months. The role requires on-premises Dynamics CRM experience and involves working with Dynamics CRM on-premises, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (online), and the Power Platform. The focus will include upgrades, infrastructure, performance tuning, customization, troubleshooting, and code review. The selected candidate will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise-level customers and partners, supporting the design, development, deployment, optimization, migration, and modernization of Dynamics CRM solutions to Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Online (D365 CE).
Responsibilities
- Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders at assigned customers
- Develop and execute service delivery plans, leveraging repeatable services to educate customers and assess their implementations for best practice execution
- Collaborate with team members to share expertise and support customer success
- Deliver technical training and provide feedback to improve existing materials and develop new content
- Handle transactional requests including troubleshooting, customer education, and technical issue resolution
- Provide enterprise-level support and administration for Dynamics CRM infrastructure, deployment, customization, integration, and performance optimization
- Support CRM upgrades, cloud migrations, and environment health assessments
- Apply strong knowledge of SQL, IIS, networking, and client-side troubleshooting for performance tuning
- Work with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Online modules including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Customer Insights – Journeys
- Use the Power Platform, including Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and the Power Platform admin center, for customization, integration, and application lifecycle management
Required Skills
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders
- Experience in delivering technical training
- Background in consulting and customer-facing roles
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Deep technical knowledge and a continuous learning mindset
- Proven enterprise-level support and administration experience for Dynamics CRM on-premises
- Experience with CRM infrastructure installation, configuration, customization, integration, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of CRM 2015+ build versions and upgrade processes
- Architectural experience with Dynamics CRM on-premises
- Environment health assessment and disaster recovery planning experience
- Up-to-date product knowledge in Dynamics 365 for Sales and familiarity with other modules
- Administration, customization, and integration experience in the Power Platform
